    Type 8181 - Float level switch

    Type Description

    The Type 8181 device is a float switch that is insensitive to dirt particles in the liquid and is used to monitor the level of neutral or aggressive liquids in tanks. The device consists of a fixed part containing the hermetically sealed reed contact, and a float (moving part) containing the magnets. This float actuates the reed contact, which can be configured as either normally open or normally closed depending on fluctuations in the liquid level. The device is available in various variants, which differ depending on the material (PP or stainless steel), installation position (horizontal or vertical), process connection (thread G ⅛", G ¼", G ¾" etc.) and electrical connection (stranded wires or cable).
