Type 6481 - Servo-assisted 2/2-way piston valve up to 450 bar

Type Description

Valve Type 6481 is a servo-assisted piston valve for hydrogen applications up to an orifice size of 50 mm. A minimum differential pressure of 1 bar is required in the valve to assist the opening and closing process. To increase pressure resistance when in contact with hydrogen, the core guide tube and stopper are screwed together. Certified 3.1 materials suitable for hydrogen and carbon-coated magnetic steels are used. Each valve undergoes a functional test at maximum nominal pressure. External leakage is 5 × 10⁻⁵ mbar l/s. On request, the push-over coil can be supplied as an explosion-protected variant for Zone 1 or Category 2.
