Type Description

The valve consists of a pneumatically operated piston actuator, a stainless steel body and a bellows element. This bellows element primarily serves as a seat seal, while at the same time providing a hermetic seal for the media chamber. Due to their comparatively short stroke, these valves achieve a very high number of switching cycles and short switching times at relatively high flow rates. These properties make this valve type particularly suitable for applications such as filling. The materials used and the internal contours are easy to clean using CIP/SIP processes, and the valve body is self-draining when in the appropriate installation position. The modular design allows the use of different valve fittings and customised port connections. The pneumatic actuator can be expanded with various functions and is preferably controlled externally via a pilot valve or valve island. An explosion-protected ATEX/IECEx device variant is available.
