Bürkert India and DSPRUD Unite to Combat Breast Cancer and Tuberculosis in Delhi Slums
In a heartfelt effort to bring hope and health to the underserved, Burkert India Pvt Ltd, a renowned German multinational, has partnered with the Delhi Society for Promotion of Rational Use of Drugs (DSPRUD). Together, we have launched a crucial initiative to screen for breast cancer and tuberculosis in the slums of Delhi in December 2024.
Under the banner of “Thriving Life,” this integrated health program aims to uplift the lives of slum dwellers by raising awareness and promoting early detection of breast cancer and tuberculosis. Bürkert, in collaboration with DSPRUD, is on the ground in 10 slums around Delhi, providing advanced digital mammography for breast cancer and digital X-ray screening to diagnose 500 and 1500 women, men, and children.
